The Print Works

Chichester, West Sussex

The brief was to interior design and furnish an exciting contemporary development within the City walls of Chichester, an area known for staunchly protecting its’ architectural heritage.

The developer had a limited budget, equivalent to that which a show home design team would charge for a safe, showhome interior, but this bold development needed an equally brave interior within the realms of a show home environment where the back ground need to attract a wide audience has to rein in wild design ideas.

Clare Pascoe set about selecting designing furniture layouts that demonstrated to potential buyers the flexibility and lifestyle they could achieve, before going on to select furniture, art work and decorative detailing to complete the interiors.   With a very strict budget, creating a believable and desirable interior was a challenge; but with the developers support and belief a cohesive style was chosen for the house.  As soon as the building works were completed, Clare’s team moved in to hang wall paper, install curtains and build furniture.  Two days later the property was ready for the open market.
