We are excited to announce that Pascoe Interiors has won another award.
On 5th October 2022 the BIID Interior Design Awards were held at the beautiful and historic Draper's Hall in London. The winners were awarded across 8 regional categories. Awards were presented by Amber Butchart, a recognisable face from the BBC’s ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’ and ‘A Stitch in Time.’
Pascoe Interiors attended the event and Clare Pascoe was awarded WINNER of the Central London Category for her Vernon House project in Primrose Hill, London.
About the winning project
The designer’s brief was to re-design Vernon House from dated student nurses’ accommodation to highly desirable boutique accommodation that embraces its’ enviable central location and welcomes guests to ‘live like a local’ within the community.
The design needed to represent the cosmopolitan character of Primrose Hill; materials were to be visually high specification yet low maintenance and physically the designs were to maximise every millimetre, so that the limited space available was no compromise on the facilities provided.
What the judges said
This innovative project won the Central London category for its truly outstanding transformation which showed real creativity. The judges said the end-result is a ‘stylish and appealing space’ and they were impressed with Pascoe Interiors response to a challenging brief and for showing great examples of collaboration between different disciplines.
The competition was fierce with three other strong contenders in this category.
The British Institute of Interior Design is to Interior Designers what RIBA is to Architects, so this is a huge accolade. And how wonderful that a small studio from West Sussex went on to win such a prestigious prize!
